This privacy policy governs your use of the mobile software application Car Launcher and Car Launcher PRO ("Application"), created by Apps LabDev. The Application is available for download on Google Play.

What information we collect:

android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION – This permission is required to obtain your location in order to display speed and trip data.

android.permission.ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION – This permission is required to correctly read trip data while the app is running in the background. It enables the calculation of the following metrics:
Speed, Max Speed, Distance, Stopped Time, Average Speed, Total Time, Travel Time, Acceleration 0–60 km/h, Acceleration 0–100 km/h, Acceleration 0–150 km/h, and 1/4 Mile Time.
Please note that trip data is only counted while the app is actively running or minimized in the background via the Car Launcher menu. No data is recorded when the app is completely closed.

android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – This permission is required to allow you to save a copy of your settings to the memory card.

android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO – This permission is necessary to display music visualizations while playing audio.


Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService API)
Car Launcher PRO uses the Android Accessibility Service to recognise edge swipe gestures ("Back", "Home", "Recent Apps") and convert them into system navigation actions. This is especially useful for devices that lack physical or virtual navigation buttons.
How we request access:

• At the first launch of the app, you will see a full-screen notice with a detailed explanation of why this service is needed, along with "Agree" and "Disagree" buttons.
• If you agree, you will be taken to the gesture settings menu, where you can enable the feature. When you enable it, you will be redirected to the Android system settings for final activation.
• If you decline, the app works without gestures, and the request will not be shown again until you manually navigate to Settings → Gestures → Gesture for returning to the home screen and tap "Enable gesture service". In that case, the consent dialog will appear again, and only after your active agreement will the system settings open.

What the app DOES NOT do:

• Does NOT read, analyse, or collect the contents of your screen, entered text, or personal data.
• Does NOT change system settings without your knowledge.
• Does NOT collect, store, or transmit your personal data or usage data.

Your control:

• Use of the service is completely voluntary.
• You can disable it at any time in: Android Settings → Accessibility → Car Launcher PRO.
• You can also re‑enable the service through the app settings, where your consent will be requested again.

Data Protection
We guarantee that your location and trip data will not be published, disclosed, or transferred to third parties under any circumstances. The Application does not collect personal information such as your first name, last name, age, or place of birth. All trip data remains solely within the Application and is not shared with third parties.
